Small tour hill to hill

There is line of hills at the south of Jogja. The hills lie on Bantul through Gunungkidul. The routes on GPS very attract me to ride over and enjoy the turns, ascents and descents.

The adventure started from Pleret, Bantul. From here we ride south east toward the Patuk hill. Now was dry season. The most trees here is teak. They falls their leaves on dry season. The atmosphere was dry with brown color almost every where, except the blue sky.

There is some 180 degrees turn combine with ascend asphalt here. What a dangerous turn, because at some turn, you can’t see the traffic situation in front, and the turn was limited with the deep valley in front.

After ride a while, we found cross road with banyan tree at the center. Turn left will bring you to Pathuk, turn right to Dlingo forest, and I choose the straight road. The road brings us to Dodogan’s bridge. Dodogan’s bridge is a new bridge, no more than 10 years. Here’s the scene is very beautiful. Your position before across the bridge is high, so you can see wide area around the bridge. The bridge looks magnificent across the Oya river that look like giant snake among the hills.

While near the river, the clear water flow upon will interest you to walk down and play on the stones and water. You can bring your vehicle down to the river, but the track to it is bad, only good driver and strong engine can save pass this track.

After satisfy playing in the water, we decide to continue our adventure. Next place was Playen, then Gading, and Bunder forest. On Sambipitu, we choose residential street through Nglanggeran hill. Some while we take picture there, than continue the ride. At the tip of Nglanggeran Hill, we turned right to get by the north of Nglanggeran Hill. We still don’t now the end of the road, just try the new routes. Finally, we get in Central Java province, and enter the Wedi city. From here, we just take the way home, because we have known this routes, and the adventures was end because we just ride on the good road till home. Here it’s some of the pictures I can take over this adventure.
