Kledung pass
It is situated between mount Sindoro and Sumbing, about 17 km northeast of the city Wonosobo on the way to Magelang, and lays on 1.500 m above sea level.
This place is a transit area after a long drive on bends of mountain road, with the cool climate and beautiful landscape. There is a hotel and restaurant with a reasonable price and pleasant services.
Bedakah
It is northeast and about an hour from Wonosobo on the slope of mount Sindoro. Here you can find some interesting place like Bedakah lake, that located in the center of tea plantation, Angin cave and Lawa cave. Lawa cave named from its cave inhabitant, it’s from Javanese language, Lawa means bat, so you can call Lawa cave with Bat cave either, but you won’t find Batman here.
Kalianget
Kalianget in Javanese means hot water. The source of the mineral hot water is a spring with curative power located about 3 km north of Wonosobo city. The place is where we can take a bath in natural mountain hot water, as to remove all tired feelings and also can do and see some things like a swimming pools (cold and hot water), tennis court, foot ball stadium, fishing pond, play ground and some kind of animal.
Menjer lake
It’s the largest lake in this region. The depth of this lake is 45 meters and its breadth is 70 hectares. It lies 10 km north of town Wonosobo with the mountain. To get there you only take half drive from Wonosobo. Here, we also hold and annual event called “Water Festival”. The Festival takes place for there successive day and it begins on the second day Lebaran (Moslem celebration day). In the Festival there are show music, folk song or traditional dances, boating and rafting. The water of the lake is also harnessed to generate electricity, which produces 26 megawatt.
