Soto Sokaraja


Here, a famous food from Sokaraja, Soto Sokaraja.
actually there's another typical food from this city besides this soto. It called Gethuk Goreng Sokaraja. Gethuk Goreng maked from boiled casava, then added with the sugar maked from the concentrate of coconut tree. from this phase, you have could ate this food, and called Gethuk. It's called Gethuk Goreng because from this phase, it must been fried. so you can Gethuk Goreng by "Fried Gethuk". But I'm sorry I don't have any picture of it.

Soto Sokaraja, there's many kind of Soto in Indonesia. usually, it's called from the place where it's belongs. There's soto padang, soto madura, soto kudus, soto kadipiro (jogja), and here, i have taste soto sokaraja, soto from city of Sokaraja, Banyumas, middle java. i don't know the special spice that makes it different, but one thing i know that i can eat two bowl of this Soto, because of it's taste. The fresh vegetablesh very taste on this soto. You can eat this soto by rice or "ketupat". ketupat is a kind of rice that have packed by "janur" ( young coconut's leaf) then boiled, so it can sustain for more time.
